KUPWARA, AUGUST 11: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, today convened a comprehensive review meeting of revenue department at the Mini Meeting Hall of the DC Office, Kupwara, to assess revenue operations and service delivery.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad, briefed the DC through a PowerPoint presentation on district-wide administrative metrics, digitization initiatives, and public grievance resolution.
Key agenda items included district administrative units, digitization of jamabandies, geo-referencing of cadastral maps and SVAMITVA Property Cards. The DC said that the digitization process will be taken to its logical conclusion as per directions of the Government and directed the officers to expedite the digitization process and ensure 100% geo-referencing of cadastral maps. He emphasized timely attestation of mutations, completion of pending girdawaris.
He also reviewed the RCCM portal.
The SVAMITVA survey progress was critically reviewed, with Tehsildars instructed to submit pending aabadi deh maps to the Survey of India and complete the Ground truthing and verification timely to ensure generation of Property Cards and their distribution in time bound manner.
The meeting evaluated online service delivery including migrant grievance redressal. He mandated strict adherence to PSGA timeframes for all digital services, particularly online applications via Jan Sugam and Revenue Portals. Infrastructure projects, including National Highway stretches at Langate-Braripora-Wodpora and other areas, were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by ADC Kupwara Gulzar Ahmad, ADC Handwara Javid Naseem Masoodi, ACR Kupwara, SDM Karnah, SDM Lolab, Tehsildars, and other Revenue officials.
