CAT orders enquiry in the office with regard to why warrant was not sent before 23 days for the execution

Jammu, Aug 06: In C.P./346/2024 (JAMMU) [ CONTEMPT ] In O.A./82/2024  titled ARSAM IMTYAZ MALIK Vs SH BHUPINDER KUMAR IAS PRINCIPAL SECRETARY TO GOVERNMENTPUBLIC WORK DEPARTMENT (R&B)  after hearing CAT ordeed as under:-

Vide order dated 07.07.2025, bailable warrant was issued against Sh. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, contemnor no. 2, Chief Engineer, Public Works department (R&B), Panama Chowk, Rail Head Complex, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.

However, it is unfortunate that the Registry of this CAT Bench has sent this notice to S.S.P., Jammu on 30.07.2025.

The Deputy Registrar, CAT Bench Jammu is directed to hold enquiry in the office with regard to why this warrant was not sent before 23 days for the execution of this order and action be taken against the erring offical.

Action taken report be placed before this Tribunal on the next date of hearing.

List on 09.09.2025.

In the meantime, the Registry is directed to issue fresh bailable warrant against the contemnor no. 3, Sh. A.K. Khokhar, Chief Engineer, Public Works Department (R&B), Chenab Zone, Batore182143. (Public Works Department).
