Jammu, July 30; Member Legislative Assembly Kathua Dr. Bharat Bhushan today called on Deputy Chief Minister Sh. Surinder Choudhary in Civil Secretariat, Srinagar and urged to take up Changran to Nagri Road in Kathua under NABARD assistance & other various issues of Development of Kathua.
MLA apprised Deputy Chief Minister that the Changran to Nagri Road in Kathua is in a dilapidated condition and needs repair and widening. The bad condition of the road has been a cause of frequent accidents and many precious lives have been lost in the recent years.
He added that the issue was raised in the Assembly also and the Govt. had assured on the floor of House that this road will be taken up as and when funds under NABARD are released.
He lamented that this road has not been repaired and widened since last over 15 Years and even Chief Minister has been apprised about the gravity of the problem.
The Deputy Chief Minister assured MLA Kathua that appropriate necessary action will be taken in this regards soon.
