Anti-Corruption Bureau  Udaipur catches a Patwari red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10000/-

Udaipur, 25 July: Anti-Corruption Bureau in Udaipur has caught a Patwari red-handed while accepting a bribe. The trap was executed by the intelligence unit of ACB, which arrested the accused and has initiated legal proceedings.

One, Rajesh Meena, a Patwari posted in Vallabhnagar Tehsil, was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000. The total bribe amount was allegedly negotiated at Rs 12,000 for a land partition task.

However, Meena allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 15,000 and refused to process the work without payment. After negotiation, the deal was finalised at ₹12,000.

Following the complaint, ACB conducted a verification and found that Meena had already accepted ₹2,000 as partial payment. The ACB intelligence unit set a trap and successfully caught Rajesh Meena red-handed while accepting the remaining ₹10,000.
