Jammu, July 21: In M.A./1046/2025 (JAMMU) In O.A./444/2023 titled SURESH KUMAR Vs FOOD CIVIL SUPPLIES AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS after hearing CAT ordered as under:-
M.A. No. 1046 of 2025 has been filed by ld. counsel for the applicant seeking direction to the respondents to consider the case of the applicant for his promotion to the next higher post of Inspector over and above respondent nos. 4 to 7 by taking into consideration the order dated 06.06.2025 passed by this Tribunal in T.A. No. 6385 of 2021 titled Kuldeep Kumar Verma and Anr. vs. State of J&K and Ors. and also by keeping in view the fact that the applicant is senior to respondent nos. 4 to 7 and the applicant is presently performing his duties of Manual Assistant Grade-I in the office of Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, Udhampur.
Prayer made in the M.A. is allowed for the reasons stated therein.
Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the applicant for his promotion to the next higher post of Inspector over and above respondent nos. 4 to 7 by taking into consideration the order dated 06.06.2025 passed by this Tribunal in T.A. No. 6385 of 2021 titled Kuldeep Kumar Verma and Anr. vs. State of J&K and Ors. and also by keeping in view the fact that the applicant is senior to respondent nos. 4 to 7 and he is presently performing his duties of Manual Assistant Grade-I in the office of Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, Udhampur.
With these directions, the M.A. is disposed of.
