JAMMU, July 21: A Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal comprising Rajinder Singh Dogra and Ram Mohan Johri has issued directions for promotion of petitioners as Deputy Conservator of Forest in a petition filed by three persons seeking directions to promote them as Deputy Conservator of Forest retrospectively with all the consequential benefits
The CAT observed that when the applicants were retired they were Assistant Conservator of Forest and they were entitled to the next higher post of Deputy Conservator of Forest as per Clause ll of the J&K Forest Recruitment Rules.
CAT directed the respondents to promote the applicants to the post of Deputy Conservator of Forest with effect from 01.12.2008, 01.06.2008 and 01.04.2008 respectively with all the consequential benefits including the pensionary benefits and the entire exercise must be completed by the respondents within a period of three months from the date of service of this order.
