Jammu, 12 July: In a decisive crackdown on unauthorized constructions, the Jammu Development Authority today demolished an illegal structure in the Meencharkan area.
The action was taken against Mohd Yousaf, who had unlawfully laid a concrete lintel on a building that had already been sealed for violations & the demolition was carried out under the overall supervision of Vice Chairman JDA, Rupesh Kuma (IAS).
A dedicated enforcement team led by Tehsildar JDA, Ms. Megha, in coordination of District Administration,swiftly responded to the encroachment with the support of local police personnel.
The sealed structure, despite being under official restriction, was found to have been tampered with by the violator who attempted to further the construction work in blatant disregard of legal protocols.
The JDA team acted promptly upon receiving reports of the violation and ensured that the illegally constructed portion was completly razed.
JDA retreated its firm stance against illegal encroachments and unauthorized developments in the jurisdiction.
Rupesh Kumar, VC JDA stated that such violations will not be tolerated under any circumstances and JDA is committed to upholding the rule of Law and protecting public land and planning norms.
