Jammu, July 12: A national-level Town Planning Consultation was held today at Civil Secretariat Srinagar, focusing on EoDB under BRCP, Master Plans, UBBL & key urban policies.

It is to mention here that previous Jammu Master Plan 2032 was notified in March, 2017, but which was having lot of illegal issues incorporated by team of CTP/STP/ATPs by keeping proposed roads in various areas despite being illegal constructions allowed in the so called proposed roads but who wanted to pay Building Permission Fee to JDA/JMC were rejected by quoting plot come in proposed road?
Above all it is to mention here that if enquired with field visits in so called proposed roads in Master Plan, team will find lot of illegal constructions have been allowed by JMC/JDA itself causing loss to Govt Exchequer by way of BP Fee & other taxes, which is needed to be acted upon.
It is also to be looked into by head of H&UDD, that whether any of the so called Proposed Road has been notified by JDA till day? Whether any of the so called Proposed Road has been taken up by JDA? If no, how JMC/JDAs CTP/STPs are rejecting BP cases in so called Proposed Roads, which are marked in private lands without any intimation to owners?
H&UDD Boss should have also acted upon CTP of JDA for not framing Zonal Plans immediately after notification of Master Plan on 17th March 2017, which stands ordered in J&K Development Act of 1970, which have been with more detailings but has been come to understand that for it a tender was called by JDA but later it was shelved.
