Srinagar, July 09: Enhancing Department’s infrastructure and operational efficiency in conservation & management of forests, Forest Minister Javed Rana inaugurated Officers’ Block at Deers Headquarters Bemina.
He also reviewed Geographical Information System (GIS) which is leveraging technology for efficient and precise tracking & management of forest resources.
He said that GIS plays a crucial role in safeguarding J&K’s rich biodiversity and fostering sustainable development.
