Srinagar, July 8: Commissioner/Secretary Tourism J&K , Yasha Mudgal said that Jammu and Kashmir is on a strong path of revival in tourism and is once again becoming a top-choice destination for travelers from across the country.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Tourism Secretaries Conference being held in Srinagar, Mudgal said that all states and Union Territories have come together for a major brainstorming session aimed at enhancing India’s tourism sector.
She said that it sends a strong message that J&K is a preferred destination, not just for leisure, but for all forms of tourism.
This is the biggest event of the year for us, and it sets the tone for the season ahead,” Mudgal said.
She said that tourist flow has picked up again in key destinations like Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam and Tourists are coming from all corners of the country.
