New Delhi, July 3: The Central Bureau of Investigation raided the bungalow of Pharmacy Council of India Chairman Montu Patel in Jhundal in connection with alleged bribery and irregularities in the accreditation of pharmacy colleges.
The raid is part of a broader probe into scams involving unrecognized colleges and fake approvals. Patel is accused of accepting bribes both at his office and residence in Delhi.
However, he has not yet been taken into custody.
