Ramban, July 2: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, conducted a thorough inspection of the National Highway-44 (NH-44) at Sherbibi, Seri, and Mehar, accompanied by the Regional Officer of the National Highways Authority of India Jammu, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), and Project Director of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Ramban.
During the visit, DC reviewed the current condition of the highway and assessed the progress of ongoing maintenance and development works.
He issued directives to ensure timely completion of all pending tasks to facilitate smooth and safe traffic movement along this critical stretch.
The inspection underscores the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and ensuring commuter safety on NH-44, a vital lifeline connecting the region.
