Hyderabad, June 26: The Central Administrative Tribunal delivered a verdict directing that IAS officer Amrapali Kata (IAS: 2010) be allocated to the Telangana cadre.
Amrapali Kata, currently working as Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, had filed a petition challenging the Centre’s decision to assign her to the Andhra Pradesh cadre following the bifurcation of the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh.
The CAT further directed the central government and both state governments to comply with its order and facilitate Amrapali Kata’s transfer to the Telangana cadre.
