A female Police Inspector amasses Rs 10.59 crore worth of illegal assets in 14 years, arrested

Lucknow, June 07: One Nargis Khan, Police Inspector presently posted in Bareilly, allegedly owns property in Meerut, Ghaziabad and Noida Discrepancy of Rs 5.23 crore between known income and assets, says FIR.

 A corruption case has been registered against an inspector in the Uttar Pradesh Police for allegedly accumulating disproportionate assets worth over Rs 10.59 crore during her 14-year tenure.

This indicated an excess of 97.55 per cent above her legal income.

According to the FIR, Nargis Khan, who was arrested, acquired extensive property including houses, plots, restaurants, bars, shops, shopping complexes and petrol pumps in Meerut.

Additionally, she purchased flats, plots, bars, and petrol pumps in Ghaziabad and Noida.
