SRINAGAR, June 06: The University of Kashmir has been awarded an A++ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in its latest re-accreditation cycle.
According to a statement issued by KU, it is the first higher educational institution in Jammu & Kashmir to be assessed under NAAC’s revised accreditation framework.
The University secured a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.68, the highest in its history.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Nilofer Khan said the grade reflects the efforts of the university community and added that KU is working towards aligning with the National Education Policy 2020.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah congratulated the University for securing the A++ grade in the recent NAAC re-accreditation cycle.
