SSP Ramban Takes Security Review Meeting ahead of Shri Amarnath ji Yatra 2025

Ramban,30th of May: The Sr. Superintendent of Police Ramban Sh. Kulbir Singh- JKPS, today held a Security Review meeting at Police Conference Hall Ramban in view of the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025.

During meeting SSP Ramban Sh. Kulbir Singh- JKPS presented a Power Point presentation on Shri Amarnath ji Yatra 2025 .

The meeting was attended by Army Officers ,CRPF Officers, ADL SP Ramban,DySP DAR Ramban, DySP Hqrs Ramban,Officers from Sister agencies, DYSP Traffic Ramban, SDPO’s and SHO’s of District Ramban.

During the meeting a quick review of the over all security scenario of the District including the emerging challenges were analysed and responses were discussed. The annual pilgrimage, which is expected to draw thousands of pilgrims nationwide, will commence from 1st week of July 2025.

The SSP Ramban emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among all the law enforcement agencies and security forces to uproot the growing menace of terrorism in the UT. Engaging in discussions on key topics such as the current security scenario, law and order, terrorist activities.

Other areas that were discussed included traffic management, emergency response, and public safety measures.

The senior officers effectively reviewed the traffic plan and the corresponding security measures to ensure a trouble-free journey for the pilgrims. Deployment plans were reviewed by the SSP and preparedness was assessed to meet any contingency in the District during the Amarnath Yatra.

The participating Officers shared crucial inputs and feedback on the necessary steps to maintain law and order, plus the counter-insurgency grid.

The SSP stated, "Our primary objective is to ensure the Amarnath Yatra is conducted safely and peacefully. We are committed to working closely with all stakeholders to provide a secure environment for the pilgrims.
