DHS Jammu directs to ensure effective implementation and close monitoring of all health programmes at the grassroots level

REASI, May 29: Director Health Services  Jammu, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar, conducted a comprehensive review of healthcare services and departmental programmes during his visit to district Reasi today.

Accompanied by Deputy Director Schemes Dr Poonam Sethi and Assistant Director Schemes Dr Ila Gupta, Dr Zargar chaired a detailed meeting with key health officials to assess ongoing initiatives and challenges. Chief Medical Officer Reasi, Dr M A Kohli, along with Medical Superintendent DH Reasi, Deputy CMO Reasi, BMOs from Katra and Pouni, I/C BMOs of Reasi and Mahore, and Nodal Officers from RBSK and DPMU Reasi were present during the meeting.

Dr Zargar directed the CMO and Block Medical Officers to ensure effective implementation and close monitoring of all health programmes at the grassroots level to maximize public benefit.

He stressed the importance of regular training for health personnel to strengthen service delivery across the district. He assured that all necessary support in terms of manpower and infrastructure would be provided to enhance patient care and overall healthcare delivery in Reasi.

The DHS emphasized that consistent efforts are required to ensure every citizen avails the benefits of the Government’s health schemes.\]

Dr Zargar inspected District Hospital Reasi, visiting various sections including the Emergency Room, ICU, X-Ray unit, Wards, Labour Room, Operation Theatre, Dental and Laboratory sections.

He interacted with staff and assessed the quality of services being offered. Deputy Director Dr Poonam Sethi, along with AD Dr Ila Gupta, also inspected the MCH section, SNCU, and Labour Room.

She instructed in-charges to maintain their dedication to public service and ensure continued quality care to patients.

The visit concluded with a strong emphasis on improving healthcare outcomes through committed administration and enhanced facilities.
