Eid-ul-Adha on June 7 in J&K

SRINAGAR, May 27: Eid-ul-Adha will be observed on Saturday, June 7, in Jammu and Kashmir whereas in Saudi Arabia it will be observed on June 6.

Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Nasir-ul-Islam said here that the crescent marking the beginning of Dhul Hajj was not sighted anywhere in the region, as a result, Eid-ul-Adha will be observed on Saturday, June 7.
