 DC Udhampur chairs meeting on saturation of 25 Indicators under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan


UDHAMPUR, MAY 26: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, today chaired a preliminary meeting to review the preparedness for the saturation of 25 indicators across 17 line departments under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh, Programme Officer Poshan, Subash Dogra, Chief Planning Officer, Mohd Iqbal and other senior officers of the district administration.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan is scheduled to be conducted Udhampur district from June 15 to June 30, 2025. The campaign aims to achieve 100% saturation of various welfare schemes and services in tribal villages.

While addressing the meeting, the DC informed that benefit saturation camps will be organized under the Abhiyan to provide a single-window platform for delivering various government services. These include Aadhaar enrolment, ration card, Ayushman Bharat card registration, caste and domicile certificates, Kisan Credit Cards and access to financial inclusion schemes such as Jan Dhan and PM-KISAN.

 The DC emphasized the need for close coordination among all line departments to ensure the effective and timely implementation of the Abhiyan. She directed the departments to intensify field-level efforts to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out and that 100% saturation is achieved.

She also stressed the importance of real-time reporting and setting up robust monitoring mechanisms to track the progress and number of beneficiaries served during the campaign.
