Srinagar, May 16: As part of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s Public Outreach Programme Raabita, Minister for Health, Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, Sakeena Itoo, today met several public delegations and individuals at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.
During the meetings, the Minister patiently listened to a range of public grievances and development-related concerns from delegations representing various districts and constituencies.
Key issues raised included road connectivity, healthcare facilities, drinking water supply, and implementation of social welfare schemes.
Interacting with the public, Sakeena Itoo said, “Raabita reflects our continued commitment to public welfare and responsive governance & these outreach engagements are essential for bridging the gap between the government and the people but had she ever bothered to seek ATRs of previous instructions issued & acted for its compliances or non compliances, which will otherwise speak the truth of story on ground..
She added that such initiatives provide a valuable platform for citizens to raise genuine issues directly with the government.
The Minister assured the visiting delegations that their legitimate concerns would be taken up for prompt redressal. Meanwhile, MLA Pampore, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi, also called on the Minister and apprised her of various public issues from his constituency.
