REASI, MAY 03: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik chaired a critical meeting today in the video conference hall of the DC Office Complex here to review the implementation, extension, and operationalization of the E-Office system across all government offices in the district.
The major focus of the meeting was the implementation of E-Office 2.0, under which the system will be extended up to the tehsil and block levels.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader effort to streamline government operations by digitizing processes and significantly reducing paper usage.
She further added that the extension of E-Office to the block level will improve efficiency, productivity, and transparency. The meeting was attended by line department officers, including those from subdivisions, tehsils, blocks and sectoral departments within Reasi.
The District Informatics Officer (NIC) provided a detailed presentation on IT infrastructure requirements, network infrastructure, templates, connectivity issues and more.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all district officers to take timely action and ensure that the required data is submitted within a week to facilitate a smoother implementation process.
She also instructed officials to ensure their network and IT infrastructure are up to date to support the operationalization of E-Office.
The DC directed all officers to coordinate closely with the District Informatics Officer (NIC) to ensure a hassle-free rollout of the E-Office system at the block level. The initiative is expected to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the broader goal of digital governance within the region.
ADDC Sukhdev Samyal, DSEO, DSWO, CAO, CHO, CAHO, DIO and other district/sectoral officers were present during the meeting.
