The Andhra Pradesh government will initiate disciplinary action against suspended IPS officer PV Sunil Kumar for making alleged unauthorised foreign trips during the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSR Congress Party government’s tenure.
Chief Secretary K Vijayanand announced the government’s decision to begin disciplinary proceedings in an order issued. In the order, Vijayanand mentioned that Kumar has been given an opportunity to submit a written defence or appear in person to present his case within the next 30 days.
