Jammu, Feb 17: In C.P./238/2024 (JAMMU) In T.A./5808/2020 titled KUSHAL DEV SINGH Vs D/O REVENUE after hearing CT ordered as under:-
In compliance to order dated 30.01.2025, Mr Hunar Gupta, ld. DAG stated that the applicant has been issued the appointment letter and his seniority would also be counted.
Moreover, the applicant was appointed as per the recommendation made by the J&K, SSRB, Jammu to Commissioner/Secretary to Govt. Revenue Department, Jammu vide order No. SSB/Secy/Sel/J/23/2019/645-51 dated 22.01.2019.
So, the applicant is entitled for seniority from the date the other persons were appointed. Hence, the case is complete.
Only one part i.e., the cost of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand only) which was imposed on the SSRB, Jammu, has not been deposited. So, the SSRB, Jammu is directed to deposit this amount in the Welfare Fund of the High Court Bar Associaion, J&K Jammu within a period of four weeks as it was observed from the original order dated 07.05.2024 that this amount shall be recovered from the salary bills/pension (in case retired) of the erring official who was dealing this matter at that time.
The C.P. is listed only for the compliance of SSRB regarding otherwise, the C.P. is closed for rest of the contemnors.
