THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, Dec 31: The Thiruvananthapuram Fast Track Special Court, which deals with child abuse cases sentenced a tuition teacher to 111 years of rigorous imprisonment for raping a Plus One student.
Special Judge Rekha R., who found Manoj, 44, of Konchiravila guilty also imposed a fine of ₹1.05 lakh, the default of which would lead to a year’s additional imprisonment.
He was found guilty of crime under provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and the Indian Penal Code relating to rape and aggravated penetrative sexual assault.
