SRINAGAR, Dec 31: On 8th Death Anniversary of Ex J&K MLC Dharamvir Singh Oberoi , Tributes were paid to leader by Different section of society.
Son Shammi Oberoi , NC Leadership ( President Farooq Abdullah & CM Omar Abdullah ) , Dy CM Surinder Choudhary and MLAs paid tributes to the Leader on th 8th Death Anniversary.
Ex MLC and two times Srinagar City Administrator, S Dharamveer Singh Oberoi passed away on 31st December 2016, after a brief illness.
The statement by NC Leadership with Cross Town News reads "Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) remembers with deep respect and affection the late Shri DS Oberoi, who passed away on this day in 2016 after a brief illness.
A dedicated Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), he was not only a committed public servant but also a true believer in the ideals and values of our party.
Shri Oberoi’s contributions to the development of Jammu and Kashmir and his tireless efforts in service of the people will forever be etched in our hearts.
This day our prayers are with the soul and his family especially the Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi."
