Kavinder inaugurates lanes & drains in gandhi nagar

 

JAMMU,Nov 02: Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly and MLA, Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta today inaugurated the up gradation work of lanes and drains in Ward No. 46, Preet Nagar and Rajeev Nagar at an estimated cost of 15 lakhs INR.

He was accompanied by X-En, Jmc, Arvind Gupta, AEE; JMC, Gurcharan Singh; Baldev Billoria, Vinay Gupta, Jaideep Sharma, Harbans Chowdhary, Satpal Chowdhary, Kulwant Singh Bhatti,  Dalbir Kharadia, Vivek Patyal, Gurdeep Singh, Vijender Dutta and other prominent citizens of the area.

Up gradation of lanes and drains, providing better electricity & water supply, Good quality roads, timely supply of ration & kerosene oil in Gandhi Nagar area is closely monitored and effective measures have been taken to streamline all these things, he said.

Gupta while interacting with the citizens of the area said that he is working on a single point agenda of developing this constituency and making it at par with the metro cities. Ever since the change of guard has taken place in the state, every possible step has been taken to mitigate the miseries of the general public and providing them all facilities at their door step, he added.

Congratulating the voters of Ladakh area for reposing their faith in the democratic process by giving right mandate in the LAHDC elections, he said that the present government is committed to serve all the regions of the state and this win shows the confidence of the voter in the present dispensation, he said. 

He further assured the people that all their genuine demands will be fulfilled at the earliest and apprised them that major projects like Flyover at Vikram Chownk, Muti level Parking at Gole Market, Lights from Kunjwani Chownk upto Nagrota By Pass, Mubarakh Mandi Gandola Project, Developing both the banks of Tawi river etc which were hanging in air from quite some time have been taken up by the government on priority and will be completed in time.
