Jammu, Aug 17: There are countless questions on working on lot of officers of Jammu Dev Authority for causing intentional delay in public due to lack of knowledge or for vested considerations especially in STP Section & DLM Section for playing delay tactics in sanctioning Building Permissions & issuing NOCs for building Permissions depite timeline fixed in UBBL 2021 for both the issues.
But, after the appointment of Pankaj Sharma as Vice Chairman, people are expecting a change in the system by acting tough by new VC on such kind of officers, who are burden on Govt Exchequer.
However, Pankaj is known for quick action to resolve public issues by this way or the other by understanding the concerned issues, so public, who are suffering from some notorious officers of JDA are expecting their genuine issues resolved in a time bound manner.
It is the need of the day for new VC JDA to act on STP Section in the first instance by reviewing status of BP Cases , which are pending in the said office beyond the timelines granted by Govt in UBBL 2021 causing loss to JDA by way of BP Fee & mushrooming of illegal constructions.
It is also a matter of concern that Revenue Section is delaying NOCs for BP cases & other related issues, which is another matter of concern because otherwise such officers are having details of JDA Lands, so other lands with different Khasra numbers should have cleared within a day by which DLM could have issued NOCs for early building permissions in JMC & JDA but if VC seek details of pending NOCs in DLM Section shall make picture open.
However, timelines for various disposals in JDA is another issue, which is also needed to be acted upon to streamline the system in JDA to provide relief to public for their genuine jobs.
Officer should also act tough on officers for not reconstructing missing files despite Govt order issued into the matter, which raised a pointer towards so called committee members appointed for the issue.
He should also look into JDA lands, which are handed over to JDA by Govt but has not been fenced till today causing litigations & raised a pointer towards working of concerned Revenue Officers of JDA?
However, after taking over the charge as VC JDA, Pankaj during a meeting with officers has clearly directed the officer/officials of JDA to work with zeal & dedications otherwise delay tactics shall be viewed seriously.
However, timelines for clearing BP cases can be read from the below snapshots & which otherwise cleared that if BP case not cleared in 30 days the applicant can start the work of his building.
