JKPSC says it has no role in delays: CAT seeks "Personal Appearance" of erring Officers if noncompliance

Jammu, Aug 09: In O.A./392/2024  titled SAYED WASI ABBAS Vs PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION  after hearing Mr. F.A. Natnoo, ld. counsel for JKPSC, vide letter No. JKPSC-Leg/209/2024- 05(CC7500973) dated 05.07.2024, stated that two persons, namely, Rupli Sharma (the selected candidate under ALC category in CCE-2022) and Goldy Sharma (Next in merit candidate under ALC category after Rupali Sharma) had withdrawn their candidature.

Since, the selection process has already been completed and the recommendation has also been forwarded to the General Administration Department. So, there is no role of PSC in this case.

Further course of action is on part of the General Administration Department.

Mr. Sudesh Magotra, ld. AAG is directed to take instruction from the General Administration Department, failing which the erring official shall remain present before this Tribunal on the next date of hearing.
