DC Kathua tough on illegal mining: Orders  closure of 25 Stone Crushers

KATHUA, July 6: The Mining Department Kathua on the directives of District Development Commissioner, Kathua has issued orders for stopping the operation of 25 stone crushers in the district and warned their owners to remove their structures in seven days positively & the Order was issued by Rajinder Singh District Mining Officer Kathua.

The order issued by DMO Kathua, copy with CTN reads that in the light of instructions passed by Deputy Commissioner Kathua, owners/proprietors of all 25 crusher units are hereby instructed to stop their operation and remove their structures in prescribed time limit failing which further action shall be initiated against them.

The stone crushers which were asked to stop operations in the district included M/s Bharat stone crusher Village, Kishanpur Kandi tehsil, Hiranagar, district- Kathua, M/s Mahaveer, stone crusher at Tandyari Channi Kathua, M/s Shree Ram stone crusher at Sahar Khad tehsil & district, Kathua, M/s Shiv Baba stone crusher at Sahar Khad tehsil & district, Kathua, M/S Sai Baba Sand Screener at Taraj Tajwal tehsil & district, Kathua. The other crushers included M/s Sai Baba Stone Crusher, M/s Satkar Stone Crusher , M/s Faith Stone Crusher, M/s Ashok Stone Crusher, M/s Raavi Stone Crusher , M/s Radha Krishan Stone Crusher, M/s K S- Enterprise, Jai Shree stone Crusher, M/s Om Stone Crusher, Jai Maa Stone Crusher, Shree Ganesh Stone Crusher, Kalyani Stone Crusher, Shree Krishna Stone Crusher, Lakhdata Stone Crusher, M/s JK Grit Stone Crusher, M/s Rudrash Stone Crusher, Shree Krishna Stone Crusher all at Keedian Gandyal of Kathua district.

Other crushers who were asked to stop operations included Sukrala Stone Crusher and M/s Sheetala Stone Crusher at Billawar in Kathua district and M/s Shiv Shankar Sand Screener at Taraf Tajwal.
