It's alarming situation and time in Jammu region as to every next door we heard a case of Drug addiction and untimely demise of our state youth due to overdose of Drug. Recently due to overdose young girl of Channi himmat Divya Manhas died for which police arrested three persons who has supplied drug to her. But this arrest couldn't stop another same incident happened in Mohallah dalpattiyan just two days before where again a teenager young son of just 17 years died due to overdose. As per our resouces recently Cop's young son died of Drug overdose.
Before we criticise Police for not taking strict action against DRUG MAFIA we have to think and contribute our part as a citizen and part of society as that time is not too far where we found and see some picture for which we regret ourselves in future so we have to think how these drugs are so popular among the youngsters. As per my study old joint family structure is breaking and families become nuclear on which both parents are working to provide better facilities to their children but doesn't know that they are throwing them in isolation of depression . So one has to spend a good time with his/her family especially at teenage/ adolescent where children couldn't think of their good and bad. In nuclear families youngsters take drugs to escape from hard realities of life which increases number of Drug addicts in a society as well. The drugs like heroin , cannabis products often called charas , Ganja , Matoo and pharmaceutical drugs are the society driven drug these days in Jammu. The Mafia makes our youngsters feel that it's a part of fashion and adoption of it defines their cool status and they offered free of cost to the adolescent students at the initial stage to the well off families children and later take a huge money after they addicted of these toxicants. The school youth is innocent doesn't think about their good and bad and lives in a hyper reality world where they feel and see what these commercialise world wants them to think and act.
As per one Doctor many cases of petrol addiction are common in a Jammu city which started a new concept of addiction. Petrol addiction is very dangerous as it targets the brain directly and the person who indulged in it gets seizures (fits) . This addiction he said is very dangerous consequences as the person may die within a year or so. Besides petrol addiction there has been increase in sedatives by drug users in Jammu. Thinner fluid which comes with typewriter whitener which one can Inhale through nostrils , boot polish , corex are also increasingly used by drug addicts. Bhuki is used mostly by drivers low strata in the society of Jammu people. All these drugs will take life of whole family whose member is involved in any of the drug addiction. Until the person is motivated himself/herself it's difficult for rehabilitation. But once a person is agree to rehabilitate himself /herself then a life of that person can be save by detoxification and a proper counselling. Killings and murders of adolescent youth of Jammu region is a serious matter concern for every citizen of this heaven called state to Contribute their part to save our generation to get indulge in this disease of illusion which will inhail our Whole youth if it will increases and goes like this. So I appeal to all of you that please fulfil your part as a parent as a brother as a sister as a son as a daughter as a social being to the society and defeat and throw it out from our value enrich heritage state. Gvt has to provide rehabilitation centre to each district but separately for women as female rate of Drug addiction is increasing drastically and a serious concern in our state and if it goes like this then think the future of our state as female will be involve in sex rackets business as no option left to her and male will become a criminal murderer . Also to save our dynasty proper rehabilitation hospital and facility should be provided by Gvt. to control and cure the addicted patients.
