Jammu, April 27: Govt. always put pressure on officers for work culture but don't care when a Minister keep a simple file with them for seven days & thereafter return back with comments as "Put up at Srinagar" speaks of work culture.
Reportedly an court order which was passed on 14.12.2016 for implementation within three weeks, till today that file is waiting for its breath. Three months exhausted on 26.03.2017 as the order was served on 27.12.2017 with due receipt from GAD/Tourism.
After sitting on file Legal Assistant of tourism sent the file to Add. Secretary on 19.04,2017 after exhausting more than 110 days the time granted by the court for its implementation. Reportedly the file was forwarded to Secretary, Tourism on 20.04.2017 & Secretary on the same day forwarded to MOS, Tourism on 20.04.2017.
The said file was received by the office of Minister on 20.04.2017 vide receipt No. 321 dated 20.04.2017. The Minister did not bothered for the court order & keeping the file in the office/home for seven days sent back on 27.04.2017 to Secretary Tourism with comments as " Put up at Srinagar"
This speaks of the work culture of the Minister concerned. Pertinent to mention here that Chief Minister is the Cabinet Minister of the said department.
Shall Chief Minister look into the performance of such Minister & retire them as dead wood.......?
