JAMMU, May 22: The Revenue Department in a land mark decision today issued instruction for the refund of fee where no registration of the document is affected due to technical glitches/circumstances beyond the control of applicant.
Group of people speaking to Cross Town News said Secretary Revenue should also act on defaulting Officers for non compliance of his G.O. No 18-JK(Rev) of 2022 4th Feb 2022 , which was issued in compliance of Administrative Councils Decision No17/1/2022 dtd 29th Jan 2022 by which 03 months were granted to DCs to resolve the issue of Gair Mumkin Khad Lands in 03 month but but after few days 28 months shall over but results on ground of especially Jammu district are negligible.
It is the need of the day to act by Secretary, because the illegal act of ban on sale/purchase of such nomenclature private lands without any Govt Order, especially in thickly populated areas is causing loss of crores per month to JKUT Govt by way of stamp duty fee & other taxes per month, needed to be acted upon.
