Rajouri, Mar 18: Promoting his developmental agenda in various areas of Rajouri, Senior BJP leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta started developmental works in Krishna Nagar area of Rajouri. Accompanied by , locals and people hailing from all walks of life, Gupta started the developmental works in the presence of scores of people. On this occasion a large number of locals were also present. Addressing the gathering ,Vibodh said that solving problems of the masses is his top most agenda and it will be seen that no person residing in the Constituency is deprived of his right.
While refering to the menace of drugs Vibodh Siad that drug addiction is destroying younger generation of the State and it is need of the hour to evolve a consensus how to deal with this deadly menace. He further said that we are facing serious consequences of drug abuse and it undermines the socio-economic and political stability and sustainable development. Besides, it also distorts the health and fabric of the society and it is considered to be the originator for petty offences as well as heinous crimes like smuggling of arms & ammunition and money laundering, he added.
Gupta said that for this Civil Society and young generation will have to work together to fight for this problem adding, "this menace has gripped youth from all castes, creeds, regions and religion so there is need to come on a common platform to fight for this disease.
District President BJP Rajouri, Dinesh Sharma also addressed the gathering in his address he said that development is running in all spheres of Rajouri and that day is not far when whole Rajouri segment will be bloomed into a model Constituency of the State and for that the cooperation of the masses is necessary.
Senior BJP leader Bharat Bhushan Vaid asked people to become the eyes and noose of the government to help in implementing the government schemes and plans.
