REASI, MARCH 5: Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Ajay Nanda today inaugurated Blood Donation Camp at Reasi which was organized by Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation in collaboration with district administration at Mari.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr L D Bhagat and other functionaries from health department were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister lauded the philanthropic initiatives of the organization in doing yeoman’s service for mankind thereby inspiring many others for similar initiatives. He appealed the youth to generously donate blood for saving precious human lives.
Appreciating the role of social and religious organizations in bringing several reforms in the society, the Minister said it was only due to their efforts that many social evils were rooted out from the society. He stressed the need for educating the young generation on rich Indian values and traditional life styles.
