Joining hands with BJP equal to invite injustice, bloodshed: Omar Abdullah

BUDGAM, March 03: National Conference, acting president and Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah without referring to any party said that there are many people who are only sprouting poison and do nothing.
Abdullah was at Beeru Budgam for a party convention, in which many congress and PDP workers joined in front of him. On the occasion, he also distributed cheques among poor families.
While replying to a question regarding PDP-BJP coalition, he said, “You should ask such questions to those leaders who are in hand and glove with the government. We had always disagreed to join hands with them, because we were aware that joining hands with them is equal to invite injustice and bloodshed”.
He said that those people who have joined hand with BJP are foes of peace. “They are those people who are only behind creating mess and never want to see the peace”.
While talking about the politics of return of Pandits, he said that, “We have promised people who left Kashmir during peak militancy or unrest. I don’t see any political party will play politics over. They are Sikhs, Muslims, and Hindus. We all welcome them back”.
Abdullah while talking about the development in Budgam said, “Our regime has always given it priority and we did a lot but there are many people who have always ignored the District. The district faces the brunt of political negligence”.
He also added that the Share-e-Kashmir Sheikh Abdullah always had given the priority to the district adding, “Yes there are many people who played step mothers treatment with the district people”. (PTK)
