Srinagar, May 5: The Central Administrative Tribunal in Srinagar has observed that withholding of retirement benefits of employees for prolonged periods as “arbitrary, illegal, and sin”& further added that it was out of sync with the constitution.
A bench of M S Latif said in a judgment passed in response to a plea by 64-year-old Kaka Jee Koul, who superannuated on March 31, 2020, as a Sub Inspector in the Home Department.
