Jammu, September 21: Liquor bars in Jammu and Kashmir are likely to get permission for resuming business operations pending renewal of the license till December 31, 2021 as a notification of Govt copy with CTN reads as:- “Provided that the Excise Commissioner may in exceptional circumstances extend any license except JK-EL-II (liquor shops) pending renewal granted under these rules till 31st of December 2021 or for any further period with prior concurrence of Government,”  added to Sub rule (8) of Rule 30 of the J&K Liquor License and Sales Rules 1984".
