Ladakh, March 29: Commissioner (Health) Rigzin Samphel said that there have been no positive cases of COVID-19 over the last ten days in the Union Territory of Ladakh & also, three people, who had got the coronavirus infection, have been cured while 10 others are being treated.

Jammu, March 29: Cross Town higlighted the issue  of over charging by lot of shopkeepers to loot the innocents during the crucial period of spread of COVD-19  & Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav took the lead & directed all Naib Tehsildars of District Poonch to check and supervise overcharging of essential commodities in market & the orderr copy with CTN reads as:- A large number of complaints have been received regarding black marketing/ overcharging of rates by the shopkeepers from general public.

Jammu, march 29: The Jammu Municipal Corporation, besides undertaking sanitation spray and fumigation drives, also took steps to provide dry ration among needy and downtrodden persons living in slum areas within JMC limits & about 300 kits of dry ration comprising essential commodities like wheat flour 5 Kg, Rice 5 Kg, Dal 1 Kg, Sugar 1 Kg, edible oil 1 Lt, Salt 1 Kg, Onion 2 Kg, and Potatoes 2 Kg have been provided to each family.

Jammu, March 29: DGP, Dilbag Singh said that a total of 337 FIRs were registered and 627 persons arrested for violating prohibitory orders in the Union Territory & 118 shops and 490 vehicles have been seized for defying the orders, Most of the arrested were later released after sensitizing them about the threat, the police chief said in a statement.
