JAMMU, Feb 10: J&K finance MInister in a video made by one of the visistor has said “I pay salaries amounting to 22,000 Cr to 4.5 lakh government employees.
With 5 times more population than J&K, Bihar has only 4 Lakh govt. employees.
Finance MInister said "We have strived to create as many jobs for youth of the state as possible.Now I can provide you more opportunities under PPP mode."

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 29: The Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (RDD&PR) is going to observe Swachhta Pakhwada in all Panchayat, Block and District headquarters of the State from October 1 to October 15, 2016.
The Department has planned to organize various programmes and activities during the period. According to the timeline issued by RDD&PR sensitizing campaigns will be done by or before November 30, 2016.
Accordingly Swachhta Pakhwada campaign will be launched from October 1, 2016, Special Gram Sabhas and Coverage & Documentation of all Gram Sabhas on October 2, Meeting of Village Health Sanitation & Nutrition Committees on October 3, Launch of projects approved under 14th Finance Commission Awards on October 4.
Similarly, the rallies of school children for ‘Clean and Green’ environment will be held on October 5 and 6, Launch of cleanliness drive and drive to clean all water bodies on October 7 and 8 respectively. Launch of cleanliness drive of all Educational and Health Institutions on October 9 and 10 and October 9 and 11 respectively.
The cleanliness drive of Anganwari Centres and Market places will be held on October 12 and 13 respectively. While as, Walkathon/innovative activities, if any, will be held on October 14 and Felicitation-cum-conclusion functions will be on October 15 for felicitation of departments, NGOs and individuals who done good work on SBM.
All the Deputy Commissioners have been asked to ensure that the Swachhta Pakhwada is observed in a spirited and dedicated manner with participation of MPs, MLAs, MLCs and senior officers of district administration.

JAMMU, Sep 09:No action taken report yet on points raised by Editor CTN Rahil Gupta in Transport Advisory Committee, especially on illegal constructions.
Rahil who is member of J&K Transport Advisory Committee and J&K Sports Council, raised points for soceity betterment but no one bother to send action taken report on it and 9 months have passed away.

SRINAGAR, June 13:Minister for Health & Medical Education, Bali Bhagat today, replying to a question of Mohammad Khursheed Alam, informed that doctors who are found unauthorized absent from duties are being terminated by the Government after following due procedure under the article 128 of J&K Civil Services Regulations(CSR).
The Minister informed that presently no doctor is on any long leave, adding that 3 doctors are on sanctioned duty leave for undergoing P.G courses outside the State.
Bali Bhagat informed that notices were served to 137 doctors found unauthorized absent, of which 100 doctors were terminated from services and the cases of the rest 37 are under examination.
The Minister said posts which fell vacant after the termination of the doctors will be filled up on fast track basis, saying that, so far, 79 posts have been referred to PSC for recruitment.
Bali Bhagat said the Government is committed to streamline and expedite the entire recruitment process for filling up of posts of doctors, faculty members and consultant in the Department.
Javid Mirchal and Ghulam Nabi Monga raised supplementaries to the main question.

JAMMU, Apr 04: Sources told Cross Town News that One MLA each from PDP-BJP is likely to be inducted into council on Ministry in month's time.
Highly placed sources told that BJP will pick up their MLA from unrepresented district in Council of Ministry whereas PDP might go for some MLA whose constituencty is in approximity to Srinagar city.
