Jammu, Jan 18: The opposition staged a walkout from the Legislative Assembly to protest against the murder of an eight-year-old girl of Bakerwal community in Kathua district.

Congress and NC legislators stood up to protest against the murder of Asifa Bano of Kathua, whose was allegedly abducted a week ago, was recovered yesterday from bushes in Hiranagar.

The opposition legislators alleged that police did not make any efforts to trace the girl after she was abducted.

GM Saroori said you should suspend the local SHO. Responding to the opposition, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Rehman Veeri said government has constituted a special investigation team to probe the murder.

JAMMU, Jan 11: Finance Minister Drabu while giving his 4th Biudget said “Let me assert that this Budget is by far the most transparent and technically correct budget presented to this House."

Drabu announced one percent DA to the state employees from July 1, 2017.

Drabu said taht the Seventh Pay Commission will start from April 1, 2018 and will have retrospective effect for January 2016, Drabu said.

Drabu announced Regular promotions for Engineers and Secreteriat cadre.

Drabu said that unmarried daughters of the employees will now be eligible to receive pension.

Drabu said that People posted at far places will get incentives and announced various Business measures.

JAMMU, Dec 28: Tassaduq Mufti along with Javaid Mustafa Mir today took oath as ministers of state in Jammu and Kashmir today.

Tassaduq mistakenly said he swore in the name of 'dog' instead of the name of 'god' buty he quickly corrected it up with 'god'.

Jammu, October 07: Taking a big turn & a big jolt to J&K Govt, where law is not bothered & innocents are harrassed by the big bosses, Supreme Court ordered to J&K Govt. to accomodate Mehraj-uddin-Khan, who was born in the Rural Development Department as Junior Engineer on a diploma from corrspondance Institute as Commissioner/Secretary to Govt..

Pertinent to mention here that recently, Supreme Court had ordered to J&K Govt.to induct him in KAS & he was inducted with all benifits.

Now Supreme Court directeds "As on today , if any KAS officer junior to respondant (M.D.Khan) is holding the post of Commissioner/Secretary to the Govt, the respondant shall be accomodated in any one of the post of Commissioner/Secreetary by shifting any one of the officer"

The court orders listing of the case on 10th of October,2017.

It speaks that where there is a will there is a way. M.D.Khan shall be an example for others that how to snatch their rights from Govt.

It shall follow with the intelligence & competance of the state Govt's big bosses, who were the main creator & needed to be punished........

 JAMMU, Sep 25: A short film promoting tourism in Kashmir has drawn over one million views on Facebook within the first 24 hours of its launch by Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, which is big achievement.

The video "Warmest Place on Earth" , was shared by  Mehbooba Mufti as her first ever tweet on Sunday evening referring to it as “Kashmir, our home.”

Even Alia Bhatt , who is in Kashmir for shooting of movie Raazi, tweeted the post.

The lyrics have been written by J&K cadre  officer Shah Faesal and video captures the romantic aspects and hospitality of Kashmir.

Srinagar, September 13: The District Court in Kulgam has rejected the bail application of six accused including two women who allegedly with the help of two sisters, abducted and raped two girls on the intervening night of 25/26 July this year.

The court said that the accused could not be granted bail in the interest of society and their release will be detrimental to whole society.

Sources told Cross Town News that Dy CM started round at 10 pm and  was on round of city for well past 12 o clock.

Sources further added that Dy CM has called for actions aginst few.
