Faesal, who is presently posted in Government of India said " 2022-23 has been a great year for the Kashmiri children. Schools remained open for 200+ working days in a year."

Jammu, October 29: Jammu and Kashmir Government established e-office for efficient working in the administration so that Govt by keeping Jammu based officers in Jammu & Srinagar based at Srinagar, cases can be easily disposed by e office & otherwise can save lacs per month as move expenses.
But, Govt has issued orders for hundereds of employees from Srinagar to Jammu , which will again cause loss to Govt exchequer by unuseful expenses for move , even when there is e-office.
Administrative Experts speaking to Cross Town News said this order is in no concurrence with e office.

JAMMU, OCTOBER 13: A delegation of DDC Chairpersons, Former Legislator, and Public delegations called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to project their concerning issues and demands, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation of DDC chairpersons, comprising of Sh Saraf Singh Nag, Sh Bharat Bhushan, Sh Mahan Singh, Sh Lal Chand, and Sh Keshav Sharma from Reasi, Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, and Samba respectively apprised the Lt Governor about various developmental and administrative issues of their districts.
They also suggested measures for further empowerment of elected bodies and shared their feedback on the ongoing visits of Union Ministers to various districts of the UT. Former Legislator, Sh Balwant Singh Mankotia also met the Lt Governor and raised various issues of public importance of Udhampur area vis-à-vis upgradation and strengthening of road network, Solid Waste Management, developing Sports infrastructure, augmentation of drinking water supply among other issues.
The Lt Governor, while interacting with the DDC Chairpersons and former Legislator observed that the Government is working on the principle of equitable development of all regions. He assured them that all their genuine issues and demands would be taken up for examination and early redressal.
The Lt Governor further urged them to continue their sustained endeavours for the advancement of public welfare. Similarly, members of Prem Nath Bhat Memorial trust comprising of Sh Shiban Khaibri, Sh SL Koul, Dr. BL Bhat, Sh HL Bhat, and Sh Sanjay Pandita called on Lt Governor and apprised him about the security of temples and shrines in Kashmir.
They also presented a book titled ‘Hindu Shrines of Kashmir’ to the Lt Governor. Vice President, J&K Veterinary Doctors Association, Dr. Sunil Kumar Dogra also met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed several issues related to the welfare of their fraternity.
Meanwhile, Sh Nakul Matoo, Councillor SMC also called on the Lt Governor and discussed about several developmental issues in his area. The Lt Governor gave a patient hearing to all the visiting deputations and individuals and assured them that the government is taking all necessary steps for the betterment of the public.
While interacting with the members of the delegations, the Lt Governor reiterated that the government is committed to improving the lives of all the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. He assured them redressal of their genuine demands on merit and said that all their issues and suggestions will be looked into earnestly for appropriate action on them.

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 18: Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education, Atal Dulloo today reviewed the implementation of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in J&K.
It came up in the meeting that over 62000 patients were treated under AB-PMJAY across the union territory of J&K.
The meeting was attended by Bhupinder Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, State Health Agency, AB-PMJAY, J & K; Prof. AG Ahangar, Director SKIMS Srinagar; Dr. Sameer Mattoo, Director Health Services Kashmir; Dr. Renu Sharma, Director Health Services Jammu; Dr. Sunanda Raina, Principal GMC, Jammu; Prof. Parvaiz A. Shah, Principal GMC Srinagar and other officers of State Health Agency. The meeting was attended by all the Chief Medical Officers and Medical Superintendents through Video Conferencing.
The FC, Health directed all CMOs to ensure that no entitled patient is missed out in any empanelled hospital across the Union Territory. He also directed the concerned to clear pendency with regard to first policy period term by or before February 29, 2020. He stressed that the main objective of the program is to achieve the vision of Universal Health Coverage. He urged them to play their role positively in meeting this goal.
The CEO appraised that over 62000 cases have been treated in the 158 empanelled hospitals across the Union Territory of J & K and Ladakh. He further informed the participants that National Health Authority has recently revised Health Benefit Packages (HBP) and the State Health Agency is shifting to HBP 2.0 from March 2020.
Highlighting the benefits of the revised Health Benefit Packages (HBPs), he said that 237 new packages have been introduced, while price increase of 270 packages is also an add-on benefit of this revised package. Besides introduction of stratified, add-on, follow-up procedures and separation of implants/high end consumables are also part of the new package.
Pertinently, AB-PMJAY was launched in December, 2018 here for making health services available at doorsteps of the people. The scheme guarantees provision of health insurance cover to the extent of ? 5.00 lakh to a family floater on cashless basis through an established network of 158 health care providers. There are 613648 AB-PMJAY Beneficiary Family Units across the Union Territories of J & K and Ladakh.
