RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 25: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz today conducted an extensive tour of Ramban town and took stock of the ongoing development works.
He was accompanied by Tehsildar Ramban Gurpreet Singh, Food Safety Officer Ramban besides officers of various departments.
DDC interacted with the people and took stock of their grievances and directed the concerned officers to take necessary steps for mitigating the problems of the people. He appealed the people to cooperate with the authorities for keeping the town clean and green.
He directed the municipal authorities to remove the encroachments and take immediate requisite steps to improve the drainage system. He asked the concerned to submit DRP for upgradation of existing drainage system in the town to improve sanitation.
Mr Aijaz also directed concerned departments to conduct market checking to curb black marketing, hoarding and food adulteration in the district.
