JAMMU, Feb 21: Vide Government Order No. 203-GAD of 2017 dated 20.02.2017, the Government has accorded sanction to the constitution of a Committee to suggest, in the interest of efficient cadre management, a concrete road map to resolve the issue of seniority of the officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service appointed to its Time Scale between 01.01.2004 to 01.12.2008 in keeping with the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court/High Court passed in various writ petitions on the subject.
As per details available with Cross Town News, the Committee has also been mandated to hold consultations with all stake holders and give them opportunity to project their view point. The Committee will hear the view-point of different stake holders on 22.02.2017 between 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm in the Committee Room, (IS' Floor), Civil Secretariat, Jammu. The officers concerned are, accordingly, informed that they may choose to project their view point individually or jointly as also in writing to the Committee on the scheduled, date and time.
