DODA, FEBRUARY 13:- District Development Commissioner Doda Bhupinder Kumar today convened a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements of various departments for the year 2016-17.
During the meeting detailed discussions were held on various issues related to effective implementation of vital schemes in the district.
DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound completion of developmental projects in the district with optimal utilization of funds for better results on ground.
Regarding the progress of work under education sector, DDC directed DEPO Doda to submit the status of completed as well as ongoing works of various school buildings and further asked to work in tandem with Rural Development Department for early completion of these works in stipulated time under convergence scheme.
Municipal committee was directed to take up construction of various lane and drains in the city thereby maintaining cleanliness of the town , besides to pace up the construction works of various toilet complexes in their jurisdiction.
DDC asked the ACD to submit the estimates for the construction of a model school at Dessa. Regarding the shortage of staff at PHC Dessa, Mr Bhupinder asked CMO doda to deploy the staff at all such PHCs at the earliest, besides proper monitoring of ongoing works on various PHCs and the residential quarters in the district.
ADC Mohammad Hanief Malik, ADDC Narinder Singh Bali, Conservator of Forests Chenab Circle T P Singh, SDM Bhaderwah Dr. Owais Ahmed, CPO Yoginder Katoch besides other district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
