JAMMU, Feb 13: The J&K Cabinet which will meet today in Jammu at 5 pm in Civil Secrteriat , will take important decisons on BIlls and give approval to important proposals.
Sources told Cross Town News that two important posts are likely to be filled today, One is Director Vigilance and second is Principal Secretay to Governor.
Sources told Cross Town News that Umang Narula is likely to get the nod for Principal Secretary to Governor , whereas Muneer Khan, IGP Crime, is likely to be posted as Vigilance Director.
Sources further told Cross Town News that rest of the three IAS officers along with Umang Narula returning to J&K, KB Aggarwal,Arun Kumar Mehta and Atal Dulloo can get postings in J&K today.
In the meanwhile , if Elections Commission of India announce the replacement for incumbent CEO JK Shantmanu, who is also proceeding on deputation , then JK may get new CEO today only.
The four JK cadre IAS officers going on Central deputation are Pradip Kumar Tripathi,Shantmanu,Ashok Kumar Parmar and Sundeep Kumar Nayak.
Sources further told Cross Town News that Three to Four IGPs can be shifted in today's meeting along with SSPs of few districts and one odd DC here and there.
