RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 8: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Mohammad Aijaz today held an extensive tour of town Ramban and took stock of ongoing developmental activities.
He was accompanied by Executive Officer (EO) Municipal Committee (MC) Ramban and Romesh Kumar, GM, GAMMON India besides officers of various departments.
DDC Ramban also interacted with the people and listened to their grievances. He directed the concerned officers to take necessary steps for mitigation the problems of the people. He appealed to the people to keep town clean and green for achieving the target of sanitation.
Responding to demand of toilet complex public convenience in the town Ramban DDC directed the EO Ramban to identify land for the same with the coordination of locals so that work can be taken under some suitable scheme. He also directed EO MC Ramban to prepare DPR for the construction of Drainage System in Ramban town
He also instructed the municipal authorities to remove the encroachments on the lanes, roads and also improve the drainage system.
Officers of concerned departments were directed to check licenses of shopkeepers and quality of the edible items, fruits and vegetables. The concerned officers were directed to keep close watch on food items and medicines.
