Jammu, Jan 23: Er, Rasheed, MLA today produced the birth certificate of a juvenile in assembly who is in Kotbalwal jail under PSA. The certificate issued by the Government Middle School, says, that the boy Sahil Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Malik is a resident of Pamposh Colony and mentions his age as 14 years.
Whereas on Saturday govt had informed the house that the age of the boy is between 20 to 25 years. Rasheed produced the certificate before the chair and said that govt is misleading the house and threatened of moving privilege motion. The boy is an orphan and his father has died due to kidney failure, he said.
Government has requested for one day time to look into the matter.
