DC Kathua reviews preparedness for Panchayat Secretary Recruitment Examination

 KATHUA, DECEMBER 5: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Rakesh Minhas today presided over a comprehensive meeting at the DC office complex to review the preparedness for the upcoming Panchayat Secretary Examination being conducted by JKSSB.

The meeting focused on ensuring meticulous planning for a fair and seamless examination process. In the meeting, DC issued crucial directives to stakeholder departments, emphasizing the imperative of a transparent and equitable examination environment. Departments including RTO, DTO, Police, and the Principals of educational institutions were given specific instructions to uphold standards that facilitate the smooth execution of the examination.

Addressing the importance of comprehensive monitoring, the Information Department was specifically directed to engage videographers to oversee and record the examination proceedings, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Threadbare discussions were held wherein Magistrate, Center Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, Observers received comprehensive briefings on their roles and responsibilities during the critical recruitment process from the DC.

Logistics plans for the examination day were thoroughly reviewed by the DC, who emphasized the importance of proрег lighting, seating arrangements, and bold signages across all examination centers. Ensuring candidate facilitation, he stressed on making adequate arrangements for drinking water and toilet facilities. The DC called for putting in place foolproof arrangements to avoid any malpractices during the examination.

He also stressed the need to ensure adherence to the Standard Operating procedures and guidelines for fair and smooth conduct of the examination. The DC further said that the examination being conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board is scheduled to take place on December 10 across 30 centres in the district; As many as 13252 candidates are going to appear in the Exam.

The DC stressed the significance of coordinated efforts from various departments to guarantee the integrity and fairness of the examination. Among others, SSP Kathua Shivdeep Singh Jamwal, ADC Ranjit Singh, designated magistrate were also present in the meeting.
