Chandigarh, Nov 01:  Haryana Government suspended two IAS officers namely Vijay Dahiya and Jaiveer Arya in bribery case.

After the approval of CM Manohar Lal, suspension letters of both the officers were issued by the Personnel Department.

IAS Vijay Dahiya was arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau on the evening of October 10 in the Haryana Employment Skills Corporation bribery case.

This entire matter was revealed by the complaint given to the Bureau by the complainant Rinku Manchanda, resident of Fatehabad. In this case, the Anti Corruption Bureau team had also arrested a woman Poonam Chopra, from whom bribe money was recovered.

Meanwhile, the Anti Corruption Bureau had arrested IAS Jaiveer Arya, MD of Haryana Warehousing Corporation, from Panchkula on the evening of October 12.

Both the officers are currently lodged in Ambala jail.

However, delay in suspension of both officers due to the facts that the Anti Corruption Bureau had not sent a written report to the government regarding the arrest of both the officers.

At the same time, in this matter, a letter was written by the Chief Secretary’s office expressing displeasure.
