Jammu, Sept 11: In CPOWP No. 287/2018 titled Kamaljit Singh V/s Farooq Ahmed Shah and others after hearing HON’BLE MRS. JUSTICE SINDHU SHARMA, JUDGE ORDERED as:-
In terms of order dated 25.08.2023, two weeks’ time was granted to the respondents for filing compliance report, failing which, Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Jammu, was directed to remain present on the next date of hearing.
Today, Mr. Manoj Gupta, Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Jammu, is present in person. He submits that the committee constituted by him has verified the work of the petitioner and has submitted the same for approval before the Empowered Committee for final disposal of the claim.
He, thus, seeks six weeks’ time to comply with the judgment dated 17.05.2018 in its letter and spirit.
However, it is made clear that in case the needful is not done, he shall remain present on the next date of hearing also. List on 30.10.2023.
